Four Seasons Wind Research Group's 2018-level Ph.D. Candidates' Opening Defense and Ph.D. Graduation Defense were successfully held
On November 28, 2019, Dong Mingxin, a Ph.D. in safety, and Guo Zhenji, a Ph.D. in environment, conducted an opening defense for their doctoral dissertation in Engineering A119. Sun Wanfu, Dean of Qingdao Industrial Engineering Institute, Li Zhenmin, General Manager of Sinopec Qingdao Petrochemical Company, Professor Wang Li of Shandong University of Science and Technology, Professor Zhao Chaocheng of East China University of Petroleum and Professor Zhao Dongfeng participated in the opening defense as experts of the defense group.

The two students gave a more detailed report to the experts in terms of the research ideas, experimental methods, key technologies, and the basis of the work that have been carried out. The experts of the defense group discussed the two doctoral students' thesis opening reports from the aspects of research content, task load, and research difficulty, and put forward pertinent opinions and expressed their full interest in the future research work of the two doctoral students. look forward to.
On November 21 and 28, 2019, Li Chuankun and Liu Anqi also successfully passed their PhD thesis defense. The defense expert group consisted of Sun Wanfu, Dean of Qingdao Industrial Engineering Institute, Li Zhenmin, General Manager of Sinopec Qingdao Petrochemical Company, Professor Wang Li of Shandong University of Science and Technology, Professor Zhao Chaocheng and Professor Zhao Dongfeng of East China University of Petroleum. The two doctors mainly explained the topic background, purpose and meaning of the thesis, innovations and the content of the thesis, and recorded and answered the questions raised by each teacher.

The successful passage of the graduation thesis defense has drawn a successful conclusion to the two students' doctoral studies and also laid a deeper foundation for their further research.
