On July 15, 2019, the opening ceremony of the first chemical safety training course for hazardous chemical safety supervisors in Guangdong Province was held in the lecture hall of the school's Yifu Building. Professor Zhao Dongfeng, Director of the Center and Director of the Expert Committee of the School of Safety Supervision and Supervision (Qingdao) presided over the ceremony. This training program was jointly organized by the Safety Supervision and Supervision Institute (Qingdao) and the China University of Petroleum (East China) Safety, Environmental Protection and Energy Conservation Technology Center. It targeted 527 hazardous chemical safety supervisors in Guangdong Province. It was conducted in 8 phases, with 66 people in each phase. , Training for 28 days. The training program is based on the requirements of the former State Administration of Work Safety’s "Hazardous Chemical Safety Supervisors Training Keys to Improve Professional Knowledge", which deeply meets the actual needs of the grassroots safety supervisors of hazardous chemicals in Guangdong Province. The content highlights "the combination of theory and practice, the combination of technology and safety, and the combination of in-class and extra-curricular", and adopts the training concept of "less hours, multiple disciplines, and strong practice" to ensure that the courses are "pertinent, scientific, and reasonable" "It aims to train hazardous chemical safety supervisors who "know the process, safety, technology, and supervision".
