The National Security Science and Engineering Research Institute visited the university for research and signed a strategic cooperation agreement
 
On June 4 to 5, committee, deputy director of the office of the State Council, the national institute of safety science and engineering of hua-shan sun, deputy director of the committee office of the State Council, the university distinguished professor, honorary President of the institute (Qingdao) of the safety supervision Wang Haoshui, vice executive director of the China association of chemical safety and secretary-general, China university of petroleum (east China) part-time professor read Ming road, Kang Rongxue, vice president of the National Safety Science and Engineering Research Institute, and Qiu Kaidong, director of the First Department of Chemical Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Management, visited the university for research. Wang Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Liu Huadong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, Yao Jun, vice President and other relevant units of the Center had a discussion with Sun Huashan and his delegation to deepen cooperation in personnel training and scientific research related to petrochemical safety. Yao Jun presided over the symposium, during which the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build the "Essential Safety Technology Research Center for Petrochemical Industry of the National Institute of Safety Science and Engineering".
 

 
Wang yong introduced history, "double top" running school construction and safety discipline construction situation, said schools in shandong province to seize the national energy strategy and focus on developing "top ten" industry important opportunities, improving service ability of national strategy and regional development, school after "much starker choices-and graver consequences-in" and "double top" construction, school running level and core competitiveness improved significantly. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the safety discipline has developed rapidly and attracted a number of excellent teachers and students to our school. It is hoped that both sides will further strengthen cooperation in personnel training, discipline construction and scientific research so as to promote the common development of the cause of both sides.

Zhao Dongfeng, professor of the School of Chemical Engineering, director of the Expert Committee of the School of Safety Supervision and Supervision (Qingdao), director of the center, introduced the discipline construction and the major achievements of the discipline in recent years.

Wang Haosui gave full recognition to the school's concept and effect of training safety production talents, and believed that the cooperation between the two sides would build a good platform for national research and development of safety production. He wished the cooperation between the two sides a smooth success.
Sun Huashan appreciated the measures and achievements of the university in the training of safety production talents, and said that mining universities play a great role in the training of safety production talents and research breakthroughs. The process and equipment of the laboratory of China University of Petroleum (East China) have incorporated safety elements, reflecting the essential safety. It is hoped that on the basis of the existing good cooperation, both sides can further strengthen the research on new situations and new problems, cultivate high-end compound talents in chemical safety, and promote the improvement of the essential safety level of the chemical industry. 

 

Yao Jun and Kang Rongxue signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the university and the university. According to the agreement, the advantages of scientific research and technical support of both sides will be brought into play, with the goal of solving major technical and common key technical problems of the industry, and focusing on the major strategic needs of the country and the actual needs of the petrochemical safety industry. In order to realize complementary advantages and promote common development, comprehensive cooperation should be carried out in the aspects of building a research center of petrochemical essential safety technology, exploring the training mode of high-end compound talents, and building a multi-disciplinary high-end think tank of petrochemical essential safety technology. 
 
Wang Yong and Sun Huashan jointly inaugurated the "Essential Safety Technology Research Center for Petrochemical Engineering, National Institute of Safety Science and Engineering".
 

Before the meeting, Sun and his delegation, accompanied by Yao Jun, visited the State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil, Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Safety and Petroleum Industry Training Center. Sun Huashan attended the fifth Senior Seminar for Compound Talents in Chemical Safety and delivered a special academic report entitled "Thoroughly implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussion on Production Safety, Strengthening Risk prevention and Control, and resolutely preventing and curbing Serious and major Accidents".
