The third advanced training class for chemical safety compound talents is the first intensive study in progress

Starting from June 24, 2019, the third advanced training class for chemical safety interdisciplinary talents was officially launched for the first time, focusing on theoretical learning, to conduct systematic learning of relevant theoretical knowledge in the field of chemical safety.

This study started from four modules: Process Safety Management Overview, Safety System Engineering, Chemical Safety Design and HAZOP Analysis, Safety Psychology, and invited Lu Nianming, Secretary General of China Association for Chemical Safety, and China University of Petroleum (East China) Safety and Environmental Protection With Jiujiang Bofen, a technical expert from the Energy Conservation Technology Center, gave a special lecture on "Safety Production of Hazardous Chemicals and Chemical Safety Talent Training" and "Misunderstandings and Improvements of Domestic Chemical Process Safety Management". In the course of teaching, we pay attention to seminar-style teaching, and through professional group seminars, we can stimulate students' enthusiasm and improve the teaching effect.

In order to enrich the students' school life, enhance the communication and integration between the students and the teachers and students of the center, enhance team awareness, and improve class cohesion. We organized quality development training and basketball networking games successively. In addition to busy schoolwork (6 and a half days in a week), we made full use of our free time to strengthen our body and combine work with rest.

On June 22, the center organized trainees to carry out quality development training. Through discussing skills, exploring experience, and working together, the trainees successfully completed the four projects of "crossing the river by touching the stones", "broken bridge", "tangram" and "60 seconds fast".After this quality development training, the trainees went from unfamiliar to familiar and established a deep friendship. On June 30, the center held a basketball match between the center's teachers and students, chemical safety engineering undergraduates, and the third high-level research class students. During the competition, everyone was energetic and interested. Participants work together and work together. The cheerleaders are enthusiastic and cheering, which fully reflects the cohesion of the advanced research class. It not only interprets the competitive spirit of "friendship first, competition second", but also demonstrates a good fighting spirit.

After a week of study and life, the trainees improved the concept of process safety management, strengthened the knowledge of safety system engineering and the study of chemical safety design and HAZOP analysis methods, and mastered the basic outline of safety psychology. Through a series of activities organized by the center, the students' sense of teamwork and class cohesion have been enhanced. Continuously improve ourselves on the platform of the advanced training class for chemical safety compound talents built by the center.
