"Environmental Quality Assessment"

      First, the curriculum objectives

     "Environmental quality assessment" is a focus on how to carry out the construction project environmental impact assessment program, it is one of the compulsory courses environmental engineering students.

      Environmental impact assessment includes evaluation of environmental quality and environmental impact assessment of two parts. After the Environmental Quality standards or environmental background values of contaminants in the environment of the state as the basis, the quality of the environment into quantitative merits of comparable value, these quantitative results the division level to indicate environmental contamination degree; environmental impact assessment is likely to affect the project after construction, regional development planning and implementation of the national policy on environmental quality and to predict the result of the evaluation, can provide the basis for the development and implementation of effective control measures. Environmental Investigation and environmental impact assessment methods and techniques are all engaged in the environmental protection work of the staff must have basic knowledge and basic skills, basic knowledge and skills students should master the environment.

      The Main Course should enable students to:

      (1) understand the environmental impact evaluation of the history and the current state of progress;

     (2) control of environmental quality survey and evaluation methods and techniques;

     (3) to grasp the environmental impact assessment methods and techniques;

     (4) master the basic method of preparation of the environmental impact assessment report;

     Second, the basic requirement

     This course covers environmental regulations, environmental chemistry, environmental monitoring and the necessary mathematical analysis and computer knowledge, it recommended that students first master the relevant knowledge through courses or self-study, to better complete this course. The specific requirements of students with the following knowledge and abilities:

      (1) knowledge about water, air, noise, soil and ecological quality monitoring, and the ability of the common pollutants monitoring;

      Migration and transformation of the nature and

      (2) major environmental pollutants in the environment;

      (3) to master an algorithmic language;

      Students should achieve understanding through the study of environmental quality assessment techniques and methods, and meet the following requirements:

      (1) with a more systematic evaluation of environmental quality of impact assessment and environmental knowledge;

      (2) have the basic ability of environmental quality survey and evaluation;

      (3) be familiar with the provisions of the environmental impact assessment procedures;

      (4) have the basic ability of environmental impact assessment;

      (5) the ability to prepare a preliminary environmental impact assessment report.
