In order to welcome the new students of grade 22 to join the Simonsoon family, get familiar with the teachers and students in the research group as soon as possible, and get to know and get familiar with the work of the research group as soon as possible, on the evening of September 13, 2022, Simonsoon course group held this year's orientation meeting in Xilong 102.  Participants included Professor Zhao Dongfeng, Lu Shuai, Liu Yi, Li Shi, Han Fenglei, Zhang Qingdong, Wang Yongqiang, Zhang Yunbo, Chen Qiang, Liu Qiyou, Lu Lei and other school teachers, Sun Hui, Duan Weichao, Dai Anguo, Wang Ge and other center representatives, as well as all students in the research group.

The main agenda of this meeting is -- self-introduction of the students of Grade 2022 of the research group, self-introduction of the teachers of the research group;  The team leader of environment and safety direction respectively summarized the work in 2021-2022;  The new team leader was announced and made a speech;  Professor Zhao Dongfeng introduced the relevant situation of the research group and delivered a speech.  The 32 master's degree students and 4 doctoral students introduced themselves in the form of PPT presentation. They were active and confident in presenting themselves from the aspects of hometown, graduate school, interests, hobbies, specialties, honors and future plans.  After the freshmen introduced themselves, the teachers in the research group and the center experts also briefly introduced themselves, expressed their expectations and welcome to the freshmen, and briefly introduced their research direction.

The research group leader is an important link between teachers and students. With the injection of new blood, the research group also ushered in the change of group leader.  Feng Yongkang, the representative of the Environmental team leader, and Xu Hui, the head of the Security Team leader, respectively summarized the work and development of the research group in 2021-2022.  After the end of the report, the new team leaders made a speech on the stage to express their gratitude for the trust of the research group and their confidence in future work.

Finally, summarize professor dong-feng zhao, zhao teachers from four monsoon team development history, research the research direction, culture, scientific research, etc, expressed the newborn and the expectation of all students, hope that team members love and mutual assistance, together, don't be too concerned at the lack of immediate gain and loss, do not utilitarian accumulation, slip in beyond, At the same time, I also hope that students can learn to think and criticize during the postgraduate period, and encourage students to actively cultivate interest in life and correct their academic attitude. At the same time, Professor Zhao hopes that students can seize the opportunities provided by the big platform of the research group, and actively learn knowledge and strengthen skills.
