Four Seasons Wind Research Group's 2019 postgraduates' open questions and defenses were successfully held

      On November 22, 2020, the 2019-level environmental, safety, and chemical safety postgraduate thesis opening defense report was successfully held at China University of Petroleum (East China)South Teaching Building 118 and South Teaching Building 119. The defense team members of the safety profession include Mr. Zhao Dongfeng, Mr. Liu Yi, Mr. Lu Shuai, Mr. Meng Yifei, Mr. Wang Wendong, and some experts from the center; the members of the environmental protection team include Mr. Zhao Dongfeng, Mr. Wang Yongqiang, Mr. Li Shi, Teachers Liu Chunshuang, Han Fenglei, Wang Gang, Lu Lei, Sun Hui, Dai Anguo and other center experts. All the graduate students in the school participated in this defense activity.

       The students who participated in the opening defense gave a detailed report on the topic selection background, research content, technical route, feasibility, innovation, and schedule of the thesis research. Afterwards, the teachers and experts of the defense team put forward pertinent guidance in terms of project topic selection, research content, and research feasibility through the in-depth and simple questions, combined with the presentation of the thesis defense content. The defending students also answered and recorded on-site questions from teachers and experts, and provided effective suggestions for the topic selection and subsequent implementation of the 2019 master's degree students.

       The purpose of this defense activity is to find out the problems in the subject through the reporter's detailed report understanding of my subject and the suggestions and corrections of the defense team teacher, and to rationally arrange and adjust the next stage of research process.At the same time, students in the 2020 grade can learn about the relevant research directions of the research group through the reports of the seniors and make good career plans for graduate students in advance.

       After the report, Professor Zhao Dongfeng made a summary on the topic of 2019 graduate students, and fully affirmed the research progress made by the students in the early stage.At the same time,he corrected and guided some common problems in the course of the students' project development.The opening defense of the thesis is a process of increasing knowledge and exchanging information. The students participating in the defense can obtain valuable comments from teachers and experts, so as to have a deeper understanding of their own topics and clarify the next step of research direction and development plan.The class of 2020 students also learned about the research direction and topic innovation of the research group from the content of the defense prepared by the senior brothers and sisters, and learned from them to lay a solid foundation for the three-year planning of graduate students.

        The opening and defense of the graduation thesis is a key link in the writing stage of the graduate thesis. The research team will comprehensively manage the thesis guidance process in a rigorous and standardized spirit, strictly control the quality of teaching, and do a solid job of guiding the thesis creation.
